Back to school haircare tips for kids
School is back and so is work for both the children and parents. New sessions bring new dreams, new hope, and an energetic child, but with that it also brings growing up to love looking good and needing more care when it comes to skin and hair. Children have different hair than us adults and need to be treated differently (and more gently). We have some haircare tips for your young ones so they can look their best and have clean and healthy hair.
Get them a fresh haircut
Get your kid a new haircut before school reopens so they can look fresh, different, and because hair can get damaged and dry during the summer break and a haircut will help restore it.
Use anti-lice hair products
Summer is the prime time to get lice. Lice can make your little one scratch their heads all the time and look unpleasant. For this, there are many lice deterring products, shampoos, and conditioners with ingredients that help you avoid lice. But make sure you are using a mild product as children's skin is sensitive and harsh chemicals can cause irritation and reactions.
Get a detangling brush or a wide-toothed comb for thick hair
Kids can get irritated a lot when you are tugging and pulling their hair in hopes of getting their locks tamed. Save yourself and your kid's energy by getting a detangling brush or a wide-toothed comb so glide through hair easily with minimal or no breakage at all.
Use accessories for hairstyling
Add accessories to the daily hairstyles you make every morning. It saves a lot of time in the morning and a little bit of any accessory can really make their whole appearance different.
Oil your child's hair
Oiling your child's hair once a week will improve blood circulation that promotes hair growth, calms the nervous system, and enriches the scalp with a rich set of vitamins and nutrients. Oils have anti-bacterial, anti- fungal and anti-aging properties that treat scalp skin conditions, such as acne and psoriasis.
